Fetty Wap got banged up pretty bad following his motorcycle accident a couple weeks ago: the day after the incident, the rapper posted an Instagram video in which he said, “I appreciate all my fans for praying for me. Had a little accident, but I’m straight. I broke my leg in three places, but I’m gonna be alright. I really appreciate y’all, for real, though.”
As Fetty continues his recovery, he has been forced to cancel shows on his North American tour, tweeting yesterday that he has cancelled an October 20 performance in Lowell, Mass. at the advice of his doctor:
His injuries have also forced Fetty to call off three other shows in early October. There’s no word yet on when he’ll be back in action or if the cancelled shows will be rescheduled, but he did post a new song he made with Monty Zoo a few days ago called “Cash Green” and tweeted, “I’m fucked up but I still could record a lil … so @MONTY1738 said let’s give em sunn real quick.”
To add insult to injury, Fetty was also given three summonses following the accident, including one for driving without a license, and tickets for not having insurance and for failure to produce a vehicle registration card.
Get well soon, Fetty, and don’t let the man get you down.
