So far, Goldlink has shared two singles—“Spectrum” and “Unique”—from his upcoming debut album, And After That, We Didn’t Talk, which is out on November 6 via Soulection. Today, he busted out another hot new track on BBC Radio 1, a bouncy and soulful number titled “Dark-Skinned Women.”
Goldlink also spoke following the debut and said of his upbeat approach to hip-hop, “I feel like that’s what it’s lacking, in a way. It’s kind of like more downtempo and very slow, really hard bass. I think it’s kind of a good contrast to have more dance, more lighter sounds and a more positive vibe instead of the same thing we’re used to.”
