Snoop Dogg helped pass out over 1500 turkeys to families in need for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in Inglewood, California. An increase from last year’s 800 turkeys. This is the second year the rapper has joined the annual event alongside Inglewood Mayor James Butts and other city officials.
“Snoop Dogg took pictures with over 800 people at the event,” Butts told NBC Los Angeles. “We had a tented area for seniors to sit in, and the first thing he did was go over to take pictures with everyone there.” Last year Snoop had been looking for a way to give back to the community and Butts recommended the rapper help out with the turkey giveaway.
