Vince Staples has been having a good year thanks to his fantastic debut album, Summertime ’06. GQ took notice and asked the rapper to critique their annual men of the year saying, “He became known as one of the most opinionated—and downright hilarious—personalities in the game. That’s why we turned to him to judge our oldest, and often dorkiest, Men of the Year moments.”

The rapper has quite the sense of humor we’ve seen before in other videos. “When I see an image of Ja Rule next to a burning car it just signifies what 50 Cent did to one of my favorite rappers and it just hurts my heart,” he says explaining his thoughts on GQ’s 2002 photo of Ja Rule.

Watch Vince Staples critique Tom Cruise, Michael Jordan, and Kanye West among others above.
