Twitter has revealed that a lot of people took to the social network during the first weekend of Coachella, raking up an impressive 3.8 million tweets over the course of the three day festival. Thanks to performances from the likes of Kanye West, who surprised everyone by making an appearance at A$AP Rocky’s performance on Friday night, Snoop Dogg, and the newly reunited Guns N’ Roses, people couldn’t stop tweeting about the festival.
In a statement, Twitter revealed that the artist appearing at the festival with the most tweets was Halsey, followed by Snoop Dogg and Kanye West. Guns N’ Roses found themselves in fourth, while A$AP Rocky and Kesha took the fifth and sixth spot respectively. Twitter also tracked the most tweeted emojis during the first weekend, too, with the palm trees emoji taking the number spot because woo California has palm trees. The second weekend of the festival will run from April 22-24.
