As the sad news of Prince’s passing slowly starts to sink in, people all over the world are paying their respects to the legendary performer. In 2016, that means the majority of this is playing out over social media—but physical tributes are starting to show up as well. From his hometown in Minnesota to cities like London and New York City, the world is quite literally lighting up in purple as we all process his unfortunate death.
Perhaps the most beautiful of all came from mother nature, as a rainbow appeared over Prince’s Paisley Park home this afternoon.
