As soon as Chance The Rapper released Coloring Book last night, it seemed no one could talk about anything but the new mixtape. According to analytics revealed by Twitter this afternoon, that feeling appears to hold some truth.

#ColoringBook and #Chance3 came in as the number one and two Trending Topics following the release, and since 12pm ET on May 12, there have been over 610,000 tweets about Chance the Rapper and #Chance3. He’s received almost universal praise from fans and artists alike, as the mixtape quickly went #1 on the Apple Music charts.

This evening, even Chance couldn’t resist tweeting a few thoughts about the project, typing “Same Drugs isn’t about drugs,” and expressing admiration for Lil Yachty’s excellent contribution (which he thinks is his favorite verse on the project).

Check out Chance’s thoughts and some art tweeted out from a creative fan who imagined what was going outside of frame on the cover after it was revealed that “Chance wanted to capture the expression on his face when he looked at his daughter.”
