Six months ago, hip-hop website WeThePlugg held a contest in which aspiring rappers paid a $100 fee for a chance to win a guest verse from Young Thug. At the time of the deal, Thug was paid a $5,000 down payment and was promised $10,000 more when the collaboration was finished.

But the verse never came. Winner Lil Trip was left hanging.

According to TMZ, Young Thug’s management said he was no longer interested in the project when the site came asking for the promised verse. WeThePlugg have awarded Lil Trip $1,000 and a free entry to their next contest and have sued Young Thug for the down payment plus damages.

Looks like the world will never see a Young Thug/Lil Trip collab.
