Denzel Curry has had one hell of a year, releasing his best album yet with Imperial, and landing himself a spot on the XXL Freshman 2016 cover (He also came by our office recently to co-host an episode of The Inbox). Stopping by Sway in the Morning, Denzel dropped a freestyle flaunting his impressive rapping abilities with Sway’s “5 Fingers of Death” freestyle challenge. During this edition, Sway only gave Denzel beats from Florida artists to go over.

Rapping over a number of beats, including Rick Ross’ “Hustlin’,” Trina’s “B R Right,” and SpaceGhostPurrp’s “Grind On Me,” Denzel does one hell of a job. Few rappers are capable of stringing together a solid freestyle over one beat, let alone this many.

Watch the freestyle above.
