Desiigner caught a lot of attention recently with his XXL Freshman Freestyle, becoming perhaps the most divisive rapper to freestyle for the 2016 cover. Despite the release of his debut mixtape, New English, pretty much everyone was still talking about his freestyle when it came to talking about his music and his future potential. After achieving huge amounts of fame with the release of “Panda,” he had to prove that he was more than what people initially thought.

The freestyle, which comes across as more of an infectious hook complete with an impeccable melody rather than some clever wordplay, has been remixed a lot since it made its way on the internet, making it clear that people are hungry for a full version of what many are referring to as the “Timmy Turner” song. Teaming up with Kanye West’s right-hand man Mike Dean, it’s looking like we’re getting a full song soon.

Streaming via Mike Dean’s Periscope account last night, the pair shared some previews of some upcoming material while Desiigner proved once again that he’s one of the most excitable people in the world. During the stream, the two shared a preview of the highly anticipated song, which is now backed by some foreboding production assumedly provided by Dean himself. Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait too long to hear the full song.
