Months ago, Kanye West promised that everyone who wanted a pair of Yeezys would eventually get them. At the time, as they were selling out left and right, this statement seemed more like hopeful thinking than reality. But it looks like Kanye has been working hard to keep this promise.

This morning Kanye West and Adidas solidified their relationship by announcing a new long-term partnership, adidas + KANYE WEST. In the press release, Adidas refers to this new venture as “the most significant partnership ever created between an athletic brand and a non-athlete.”

One of the most exciting details, especially for the fans, is that this new expansion plans to include the opening of retail stores. Adidas plans to create new stores specifically designed to serve as “distinct hubs for adidas and West developed Yeezy product.” As a result, more items from Kanye’s Yeezy line—including shoes and clothing—will soon become more readily accessible to the fans who desire it.

Kanye West spoke briefly about the new venture within this morning’s press release, saying: “These past two years Adidas and Yeezy have given a glimpse into our future. This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations.”
