2016 has been quite the year for G.O.O.D. Music. With Pusha T now at the helm as president, a number one album off of almost all streams from it’s frontman Kanye West, and a Billboard number one single from Desiigner with “Panda,” G.O.O.D. seems to be making great decisions.
After doing a little digging, we may have discovered that there is another young artist set to make waves with G.O.O.D. Music.
The label recently made a Twitter account, and if you look at who they are following, all but one of the names make sense:
As you can see, 070Shake is the latest account to be followed by the label. The North Bergen, New Jersey native is managed by social influencer YesJulz and has been making a name for herself, racking hundreds of thousands of plays on SoundCloud, and doing shows with the likes of OVO affiliate Amir Obe and Atlanta super producer Sonny Digital. The 070 comes from both the rising collective she represents and the zip code of her hometown’s county.
Now it looks like her latest move is to Kanye’s star-studded record label. Aside from the follow, there’s other evidence pointing towards a 070Shake signing to G.O.O.D. The first piece of evidence is Pusha T’s happy birthday Instagram post to Kanye in which he tags Shake along with everyone involved with G.O.O.D. Music, as you can see below.
The same day, Julz coincidentally let off a tweet on how they’re gonna be “good” regardless.
In addition to that, the night of the Kanye West/Webster Hall fiasco Julz threw one of her 1 a.m. parties at SOBs. After failing to pull off the surprise show, Pusha, Desiigner, and other members from the camp crashed the party and performed for Julz’s crowd instead. In a video captured by a fan in attendance, you can see Shake was also on stage with G.O.O.D. Music camp.
