In light of the protest in Dallas, Texas in response to the recent deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castle, which ended with the deaths of five police officers, Beyoncé has shared a tribute video in their honor.

The looping Instagram clip cuts back and forth between a video of a billowing Texas flag and the names of the deceased officers: Lorne Ahrens, Michael Krol, Michael Smith, Brent Thompson, and Patrick Zamarripa. She captioned the video with a brief message condemning violence against and human life:

Rest in peace to the officers whose lives were senselessly taken yesterday in Dallas. I am praying for a full recovery of the seven others injured. No violence will create peace. Every human life is valuable. We must be the solution. Every human being has the right to gather in peaceful protest without suffering more unnecessary violence. To effect change we must show love in the face of hate and peace in the face of violence.

Beyoncé has been vocal about the violent events that have taken place in the United States over the past few days, previously penning a powerful letter in response to police violence, and later paying tribute to victims of police violence during a live performance.
