Earlier today, French Montana got a haircut live on MTV’s Facebook page, and during the conversation, he addressed Drake’s shots at Joe Budden on “No Shopping,” saying that Drake didn’t actually have it out for Budden at all.

“I don’t have nothing to do with that one,” he said. “I don’t think we did that record thinking about Joe Budden. No, I don’t think—I know that for a fact.”

Still, Drake’s lyrics do seem to very much be a jab at Budden, since he borrows from Budden’s 2003 song “Pump It Up” and seems to call him a one-hit wonder: “Pump, pump, pump it up / She got a good head on her, but I pump it up / I’m not a one hit wonder, they know all my stuff / You let me turn into the nigga that you almost was.”

Watch Montana get his hair cut, and listen to “No Shopping,” below.
