Earlier this year, Oakland-based rapper Kamaiyah got the internet buzzing with her impressive debut mixtape A Good Night in the Ghetto. In the few months since then, she’s been getting some well deserved attention and earning herself some notable fans—one of her most recent being Travis Scott.
In a recent interview with California radio station 106 KMEL, Kamaiyah revealed that Travis Scott recently got in touch with her and admitted he was a new fan. Aside from receiving some praise, it appears that Scott was so much of a fan that he immediately wanted to work with her. Kamaiyah says that the two of them have already recorded a track together, but there’s no word yet on when the rest of the world will be able to hear it.
