Over the past few months, FX has revealed a number of tantalizing snippets of the upcoming Donald Glover-starring series Atlanta. With the new show's premiere arriving next week, the network has shared a stunning new clip appropriately titled "Inhale Atlanta."

While not much about the show's storyline is revealed—the three-minute clip follows a day in the life of Glover's character—the slow paced trailer definitely gives one a very good sense of Atlanta's aesthetic and mood, and perhaps more importantly, what the city of Atlanta is actually like.

Donald Glover has expressed that he wants Atlanta, which follows two cousins who are trying ot make it as rappers, to be "Twin Peaks with rappers." He and long-time collaborator Hiro Murai (who serves as the show's Director) tried to "create a tone in a world where [...] you are allowed to laugh at the hard jokes," explained Murai during a press conference

In a recent interview with Vulture, Glover stated that he  "wanted to show white people [with Atlanta], you don't know everything about black culture." Atlanta aims to show the rest of the world what black people in the city actually live like.
