As we continue to wait patiently incredibly impatiently for Frank Ocean's new album, his producer and friend Malay took part in a Q&A session on Reddit last night.

Malay is the Grammy wining producer who worked extensively on Ocean's 2012 album channel ORANGE, as well as making music with Zayn, John Legend, and many others. Needless to say, Frank Ocean questions abounded, but Malay answered them with good humor, while giving absolutely nothing away about the new album.

See some key quotes from Malay below, and read his answers to questions ranging from technical to hilarious here.

On fans upset by the Frank Ocean album delay:

First of all we all massively appreciate and love you guys, Frank has told me this himself many times. To be fair tho, art cannot be rushed. It's about making sure the perfect aesthetic for the situation has been reached, to do that, takes constant tweaking, trial and error.. That goes for any creative situation.

On the original release date:

Never heard of an actual date.. Then again I don't pay attention to a lot of stuff 🎈

On the vibe recording channel ORANGE:

Two friends hanging out.

On his favorite Kanye West song:

Wow, tough question.. Seems to always go back to heard em say.
