Just yesterday we were met with the news that Florida rapper Kodak Black would be getting released from jail this week. However, it seems the celebration has come to a screeching halt. According to Florida publication Sun Sentinel, Kodak won't be returning home as soon as expected after all.
A spokeswoman from Florida's Broward Sheriff's Office said that during Kodak's releasing process it was discovered that the rapper still had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Because one of the warrants is a "no bond hold," Kodak cannot be released from jail just as yet.
The two warrants were reportedly issued in separate locations—one in St. Lucie County, Florida and the other in Florence, South Carolina. As of right now, no further information is being shared about the warrants or the possibility of a future release for Kodak Black.
