It seems like forever ago that the feud between Drake and Meek Mill kicked off, and there's at least one part of the conflict that Meek doesn't seem to get, as he expressed in a recent interview with My Mixtapez.
In regards to Drake's "Back To Back" lyric, "Is that a world tour or your girl's tour," which references Meek's stint opening for girlfriend Nicki Minaj on her tour, Meek thinks that having a self-sufficient significant other should be a point of pride, not shame:
I remember last year, everybody going against me because of a diss rap. You think telling me I’m going on my girlfriend’s tour is gon’ stop me? Was that a joke? Because where I come from…you end up having to take are a lot of girls who ain’t got nothing. I thought it was live to have a girl that get more money than me, to do a bigger tour than me. I thought that was actually dope.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Meek talked about Jay Z's relationship with his daughter Blue Ivy has informed his own relationship with his son, as well as his upbringing and career history.
