Pharrell has established himself in the music and fashion world, so now is as good of a time as ever for him to infiltrate the culinary one.
According to Pitchfork, Pharrell and his family will be launching a new food-related product line called "The Williams Family Kitchen" alongside grocery chain Dean & DeLuca. "The Williams Family Kitchen," according to Pharrell, was inspired by his father Pharoah Williams and will feature products based on "authentic Williams family recipes."
"[My father's] recipes are so good," says Pharrell in a press release, "My whole family is addicted to his cooking." The product line not only aims to provide delicious food, but also health-conscious choices that were a "better choice for [Pharrell's father's] lifestyle" that would "essentially help add years to his life."
Many artists have taken an interest in the culinary world: Snoop Dogg recently announced that he and Martha Stewart will be starring in an upcoming cooking show; Questlove—a well-known advocate of all things delicious—recently released his food-focused book, something to food about; and of course, Action Bronson has been the host of his own MUNCHIES show F*ck, That's Delicious, now in its third season.
Pharrell's "The Williams Family Kitchen" line will be available starting Spring 2017. Watch him talk the upcoming product line below.
