When Young Thug originally shared the tracklist for his new project No, My Name is Jeffery (Jeffery, for short), he explained on an Instagram caption: "I named the songs after all my idols." Those idols included Rihanna, Wyclef, Floyd Mayweather, Swizz Beatz, and Gucci Mane. Just a couple of days after the release of Jeffery, Thug has changed one of his song titles to "Kanye West."

The song was originally called "Pop Man," and it's a standout from the project featuring Wyclef Jean. The title is now "Kanye West" on Apple Music and on the new tracklist shared on Thug's Instagram, but it's still listed as "Pop Man" on Spotify. This alteration to an already released album is a fitting tribute to Kanye, the man who continued to update his most recent album The Life of Pablo long after its release.

So now that there's officially a Young Thug song called "Kanye West," maybe we'll finally get to hear some of those 40 songs that Thug and 'Ye have together.
