Chance the Rapper is no stranger to being the star of an advertising campaign, having previously starred in a campaign for Nike earlier this year. Now he's the star of a new H&M collaboration with Kenzo, and he sports a vibrant outfit in the newly released teaser clip. GQ reports that the campaign will also feature Iman, Rosario Dawson, Chloë Sevingy, Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, Vietnamese rapper Suboi, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
The diverse lineup looks to penetrate the worldwide market, and who better grab people's attention initially than the always pleasant Chance the Rapper. In his teaser for the campaign, he reveals that he watches a lot of films, and that script writing is one of his "hidden vices." He continues, saying, "You would think that I'm very well versed in music but I really don't know that much old music... I watch movies all day. I like great scripts, great dialogues, and think that's actually one of the bigger influences in my writing."
He also admits that he hasn't read a book "since, like, in high school." He adds with a grin, "I'm very good at pretending like I read a lot, but I don't really know anything." Watch his teaser video for the campaign above, and read more about it here.
