One Love Music Festival, which went down September 10-11 in Calgary, Canada, had a strong lineup and some special moments this year. Both Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt performed, with Earl joining Tyler during the latter's set to perform 2010 cut "Orange Juice." Footage of that performance was shared on Jasper of Odd Future's Instagram the following day, but now some more intriguing video from the festival has surfaced.
As Pitchfork points out, during Earl's own set at One Love, he performed what sounds like three new songs, or at least three new verses over different beats. “This brings me to my favorite part of every show, when I start doing new shit,” Earl says at the beginning of the fan-shot video. Towards the end, Earl shouts out Knxwledge, who he collaborated with on "Balance," suggesting the producer is behind some of the new beats. Check out the video below.
Just yesterday, Danny Brown debuted posse cut "Really Doe" from his new album, which features Earl Sweatshirt, Kendrick Lamar, and Ab-Soul. Listen here. Earl also recently started a radio show with RBMA, and he shared a track produced by King Krule on the first episode.
