Rumors have been swirling about a possible Drake and Kanye West collaboration for some time now, and last week we appeared to get a pretty solid hint as a billboard popped up in Calabasas with Drake's OVO owl symbol and Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music angel symbol.
After days of speculating, Kanye has finally confirmed that this collaborative album with Drake is actually happening. In a recent interview with Vogue, Kanye discussed today's Yeezy Season 4 debut, future career plans in fashion and music—including recording music with Drake. "We're just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio," Kanye said. "We're working on an album, so there's some exciting things coming up soon."
However, Kanye did refrain from mentioning any release date for this upcoming project. From the looks of his statement, it seems that this yet-to-be-titled album with Drake is still in its early development stages and will presumable pick up the pace after the Saint Pablo tour. But the bright side is that fans no longer have to wish for this collaborative album to come true—it's happening.
