The last 24 hours have been all about Drake. First he announced the release of an new project, More Life, which he's calling a "playlist" and not a mixtape. Then OVO Music also shared three new tracks and a remix, including one that seemed to poke fun at Kid Cudi's recent mental health struggles.
But considering that today is Drizzy's 30th birthday, maybe the new album was just a birthday present to himself. Drake gave a humbled toast at his party last night, right after his dad's impassioned performance of "Happy Birthday."
Guests at the West Hollywood party included Taylor Swift, French Montana, Jamie Foxx, Katy Perry, and more. "It's about bringing the journey that we've all shared together," Drake said. "Every part of it has...led to this. Out of the two's now, I look at this number and there's a different digit in front. People ask me how I feel and I feel great..I just wanna—I want to thank everybody for tonight."
