Kanye West stopped his show last night (November 17) to speak at length about Donald Trump's election as the next president of the United States, and needless to say, his comments disappointed many of his fans. Speaking for over 20 minutes, Kanye praised Trump, explaining, "If I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump." Met with boos, he called out the media and said that he enjoyed Trump's campaign.

"Celebrities are the influences are of our now, just look at the president, he wasn't in politics and won," he continued. Not backing down, Kanye said, "Not one or the other candidate was going to instantly be able to change [racism] because of their views. Stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, okay? Lets stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It's just a fucking fact. We are in a racist country. Period."

Even though he doubled down on the idea that he'll be running for president in 2020, judging from the way Twitter reacted, he might have just lost a lot of potential supporters of his future campaign.
