UPDATE: Now that the show has finished, clips from the monumental performance have been popping up on social media. Watch some highlights below.
Skepta had a very successful year in 2015—finding himself on remixes with Drake and even Idris Elba, and bringing grime to New York City in a major way—but those accomplishments served as building blocks for an even greater year in 2016. This year, Skepta released his long-awaited Konnichiwa album, won a Mercury Prize, and started working on a film about his label Boy Better Know—just to list a few things.
Although these last two years have been the most notable years of his career so far, Skepta has been working on reaching these goals for some time now. All of that hard work has led him to the biggest show of his career. Tonight Skepta will perform at London's famous Alexandra Palace—aka Ally Pally—in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,000 people.
Luckily for those who couldn't manage to secure a ticket, or be in London tonight, the entire show will be streaming live on Apple Music. Beats 1 Radio will also be broadcasting live from backstage as they interview some of the special guests in attendance.
The live stream will begin at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM GMT here.
