Summer is in full swing and we still don't have Luv Is Rage 2. Lil Uzi Vert, presumably sensing fans' growing impatience, recently teased the forthcoming mixtape on Instagram Live with a clip of an untitled track:

The new track is possibly entitled "Sauce It Up" and doesn't appear to boast a feature from the only person Lil Uzi Vert follows on Instagram: Marilyn Fucking Manson.

Luv Is Rage 2, which we named one of 2017's most anticipated releases, was first announced back in November on the heels of his collab EP with Gucci Mane, 1017 vs. The World.

Sway tried to get some specificity from Lil Uzi Vert regarding the project's release date at last month's Billboard Music Awards. "Well, Luv Is Rage 2, it'll be out soon," Uzi said when asked about the "status" of the Luv Is Rage sequel. "Like really soon. Like, sooner than soon."

But Don Cannon, who signed Uzi to his and DJ Drama's Generation Now imprint back in 2015, offered a slightly different update on the project's status in April. "Luv Is Rage is not dropping no time soon," he explained. "It's not gonna be a long time from now, but not within this month. We're still working on the album."

Hopefullythe Luv Is Rage 2 delay is merely the result of a last-minute addition from Manson.
