2 Chainz sent people in a frenzy last month after he posted a photo of himself standing alongside Eminem on Instagram with the caption "Sooo this jus happened ......#marshallikestrapmusic."

What are Eminem and 2 Chainz cooking up? Is this track for a possible upcoming album from Em? In an interview with DJ Drama on his radio show, Tity Boi provided a lengthy breakdown of how their collaboration came to be at the 17:35 mark of the above video.

Initially, it was Denaun Porter who reached out to 2 Chainz about re-doing a hook and adding some ad-libs for Eminem. 2 Chainz pushed back on the idea, arguing that he does his own hooks, but eventually, the rapper claims he "humbled" himself and met up with Em.

When they finally linked up, Eminem played him the song and 2 Chainz said he spotted portions of the track where Em's vernacular sounded "2 Chainz-y." The two continued to go back and forth exploring ways to improve the song before they agreed on a collab that includes a Tity Boi verse.

On Friday, Allen Hughes, director of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s HBO documentary, The Defiant Ones, spilled the beans regarding some additional details on a collaboration between Em and Dre in an interview with Uproxx. "Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album," Hughes said. "So Dre’s still real active in music, you know?"

2 Chainz confirmed the track will appear on Eminem's upcoming album. Though there hasn't been a formal announcement to a MMLP2 follow-up, rumors of Em working on new music have been popping up online. Maybe the Rap God has one more album left in him.
