It was initially teased Sunday afternoon on Roc Nation's Twitter account:
Tidal, Sprint, and Live Nation also shared similar messaging on their respective accounts. If you remember, back in May Jay Z inked a 10-year deal with Live Nation reportedly worth $200 million. Hov is always about his business.
Jay Z's 4:44 didn't appear on the Billboard 200 chart as Tidal didn't report the streaming numbers in its first week of release. That said, it sounds like the album will hit No. 1 following its release to Apple Music along with the availability of physical copies. All told, 4:44 is projected to move around 275,000 units.
The physical copies also included a treat for Jay Z fans: three bonus songs, one of which featured Blue Ivy dropping bars of her own.
