Wins and Losses, Meek's third album, dropped last week via MMG and Atlantic. In addition to Thugger on the latest single, Meek also enlisted the guest verse services of Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, Future, Rick Ross, The-Dream, and more. As of Wednesday, Billboard had Meek's album forecasted to bring in as high as 95,000 equivalent units during its first week of release. Those numbers are on par with forecasts surrounding Tyler, the Creator and Lana Del Rey's releases that same week, meaning the race for No. 1 will be a close one.
Shortly before the "We Ball" video's release, Meek responded to Trick Daddy's recent demand for an apology following comments Meek made on Ebro in the Morning while promoting his new album. Specifically, Trick Daddy wasn't pleased with Meek's remarks about the Dreamchasers' influence on Miami. "Ever since you lost your girl, you been tripping," he said on Instagram. "As a matter of fact, your visa has expired. You owe me and my city an apology."
