The video for Majid Jordan’s new single, “One I Want,” dropped Thursday afternoon after the track was released June 15. Check out the video above.

The Canadian duo (consisting of Jordan Ullman and Majid Al Maskati) and Partynextdoor are partners in the OVO Sound clique. Majid Jordan met as students at the University of Toronto in 2011.

Partynextdoor plays a prominent role on “One I Want,” singing and rapping for the first 2:20.

“Fifty bands later, you the one I want,” he sings in the chorus. “Hundred bands later, you the one I want.”

Majid takes over for the rest of the track, singing: “Girl you too heated I thought that I told ya to simmer down/She wants to know if I'm ready I'm ready to see her now/Why would I say no?/I say I'm close/I'll let you know/So let me come by and love me down.”

Jordan and Partynextdoor sing the final chorus together.

Majid Jordan dropped “Phases,” their first release since their self-titled debut in 2016, in April. We don't yet have a date for their sophomore album.
