In an era where style is as important as lyrical ability in hip-hop and rappers are transitioning into all levels of fashion, it was only a matter of time before roles reversed and a fashion designer decided to pick up a microphone. That designer is Lil Gnar and he's already created a buzz for himself with a gritty, unique sound and by showcasing his expensive lifestyle and insane skateboarding ability on social media.

The East Atlanta born, LA-based designer/rapper was able to obtain a distribution deal for his clothing brand Gnarcotic last year and is now using the free time to release the music he's been to busy to share with his fans. Gnar is gearing up to release a collab EP Big Bad Gnar Shit with fellow ATLien Germ next week and tonight they're here to share the latest track off of the project. "Codeine Lemonade" is the follow-up to their popular single "Ride Wit Da Fye" and showcases Gnar's infectious sound over Izak production.

Check out the single below and keep scrolling to watch Lil Gnar talk about skating and more on the latest episode of Trending Topics.
