    El-P/Killer Mike

Run the Jewels, the self-titled debut album from rappers El-P and Killer Mike, is one of the best rap albums of the year. It's almost surreal to be blessed by two of Brooklyn's finest with a new rap duo in such a short amount of time. The two have worked together closely before, when El-P produced Killer Mike's R.A.P. Music, but this album took it to a whole new level. Hip-hop heads and hipsters alike would be remiss to miss these two legends take the stage in Chicago this weekend. They technically each have their own set time and performance slot, but honestly? We're hoping they'll just turn this into double the chance to perform someĀ Run The Jewels material.
