    Mac DeMarco

Cross-dressing, cackling, shot-taking, beer-slinging Mac DeMarco feels more like the best friend you've always wanted than a musician—but then his existential weirdness hits so hard sometimes that it slaps you back to reality—this guy is making some of the best experimental lo-fi pop rock of our day. Even on a song that's an ode to a cigarette company, DeMarco manages to sneak in social commentary and tongue-in-cheek consumerist critiques. His live shows are raucous, fun and always full of surprises, do not miss him performing tracks from 2012's Mac DeMarco 2 and his debut Rock and Roll Night Club at Pitchfork.
