    Lindsay Lowend - "Wind Fish"

Not only does dude have one of the illest names in the electronic music scene, he's dropped one of the illest EPs out right now, Wind Fish. On the title track, it sums up everything that encompasses this EP, which is, um, everything. It's built on a mid-tempo rhythm that spends a lot of time building up these catchy synth and piano melodies, throwing in some elements of jazz and jungle at the drop of a dime. It's as if Lindsay has a grip of ideas for each song, and instead of letting one marinate for an entire track, he figured "why not just throw all of them in the pot?" It works well, although I do wish that the dubstep bit around 2:33 would have been built into its own track. Maybe that could be the khal VIP? - Khal
