CHVRCHES - The Bones of What You Believe

Listen if you want: More synths, brighter sounds, no posturing

Drake's a good guy. If you've ever watched and interview with him, you can see it. But as a rapper—and one who's been dealt a few jabs over the years—he's put in a position where coming across as "soft" or "sensitive" is often viewed as a negative thing. Drake balances this by compensating for his sensitive side with more edgy language, threats ("bitch you better have my money when I come for the shit like ODB!"), and plenty of bragging. If you're more into the poppy, friendly, welcoming sounds that Drake offers and not "Worst Behavior" or "305 To My City," check out CHVRCHES' debut album. The Scottish trio goes in heavy with the electronic pop, and Lauren Mayberry's sweet voice is never threatening.
