London Grammar - "Nightcall (Kavinsky Cover)"

Aside from being powerful and gorgeous, London Grammar frontwoman Hannah Reid's voice is haunting. It's a feeling she manages to evoke on every song London Grammar's produced. But this trait was never more effective than on their stunning cover of Kavinsky's "Nightcall." The original is an '80s-esque, synth heavy song that seems more a product of some fancy computer work than actual time in a studio. But the trio's version is much more stripped down, relying on piano, a little percussion, and Reid's arresting vocals. Even Kavinsky gave it his stamp of approval. - Katie K
