In Bad Boy Records' heyday, Diddy (then Puff Daddy) consistently showcased a knack for taking recognizable samples and sprucing them up with a new sheen. For the bombastic final single from his 1997 debut album No Way Out, co-producers Diddy and Steven Jordan recast composer Bill Conti's epic "Going the Distance" (a rousing orchestral piece from the Rocky Soundtrack) as the backdrop for the fittingly titled "Victory."
