    Tyynyt

    Sounds like: Grandaddy, Pavement, Sebadoh

Sitting nicely on the roster at the ever-prolific and credible Finnish label Solina Records, Tyynyt is Finnish music staple Jari Oisalo's latest project. Incredibly analogue and writhing in shoegaze, the band's first single "Pusuudelleen" lends a hand in translating the band's name, which means "pillows." Fluffy and familiar and yet edgy and forward-thinking, it's a single of pure analogue bliss, demonstrating that Finland is very much on board with the early '90s revival, albeit in its refreshingly own way.
