vox - "Put The Poison In Me"

Nothing like a little minimalism to bring the mood down. vox is capable of a lot of things, but this might be where she's most comfortable: piano, voice, and an apathetic hopelessness. "Put The Poison In Me" is a departure from her earlier work, like "Money," where dark electronic production factors heavily.

This time, however, vox is after those Thom Yorke "Videotape" vibes, and the result is a poignant, expertly sung knife-twister. Remember to breathe as you listen.
