We last heard Two Inch Punch producing “Precious,” a super-catchy piece of futuristic R&B from Bristol’s own Javeon McCarthy, which was softer and more sultry than his usual fare. This trend is continued on “Paint It Red” as mellow synths glide alongside a stuttering, withdrawn drum track until the drop where soft bass slithers in and nestles comfortably underneath it all. Relaxing vocals from Mikky Ekko round off this soothing track which is available on PMR records on June 22nd.
