This time last year we had no idea who The Neighbourhood was. Amazing to think how much this new band has been able to accomplish in roughly 10 months. From mysteriously dropping singles, to the release of their debut EP, to touring with Interpol’s Paul Banks, to now preparing their first full-length album, we’ve had the pleasure of watching these five west coast rockers assemble a rather impressive breakout 2012.

This coming January the group will release a new 7″ offering titled Thank You, which will feature fresh material including this track called “Little Death.” The song runs in the same vein as most of the band’s previous work. This is comforting news if you’ve found yourself enjoying records like “Sweater Weather,” a song that we just selected as one of our 50 Best Songs of 2012. Pre-order for the vinyl Thank You 7″ will begin tomorrow at the band’s website,¬†where you will also be able to purchase a digital version if preferred.
