This debut track from GAPS is a thing of elegant, slow-building excellence, with mysterious, distant vocals and the echoing sound of seagulls (the band are from the lovely seaside town of Brighton after all) building to a slightly unsettling crescendo. Once the galloping beat kicks in, everything changes, as layers of sound are built upon each other and the track powers through to its end, with the last 30 seconds being especially impressive. Check it out below.

GAPS debut double A-side, “Cascade / Keep You,” is out on Sexbeat June 15.
