Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk has made a 20-track Spotify playlist for your perusal, very much reflecting the style of the French duo’s most recent record, Random Access Memories. Recent collaborator Nile Rodgers pops up a number of times, as part of Chic and through songs he produced for Diana Ross and Sister Seldge, while Giorgio Moroder, Pharrell (as part of N.E.R.D.), Panda Bear, Paul Williams, and Chilly Gonzales are also included (where’s Todd Edwards though?).

Variation is provided with songs from newer artists like Jai Paul and James Blake, but anyone hoping to discover some little known gems, or underground French dance tracks, will likely be sorely disappointed.

Listen below or on Spotify here.

UPDATE: Here’s a playlist from the other half of Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who has shared a more hip-hop leaning selection.
