2013’s been ripe with breakout R&B musicians coming from across the globe, and 20-year-old California songstress Tinashe Kachingwe is no exception. We first caught wind of Tinashe’s magnetic sound after premiering Chance the Rapper’s remix of her playful song “Ecstasy” back in January, which she followed with the sleek, Jacques Greene-produced “Painted Faces.” Today she releases her buzzed about Black Water mixtape which she recently teased with the quivering, seductive lead single “Vulnerable,” featuring Travi$ Scott. The mixtape also includes production work from Ryan Hemsworth and Bo-1da. Expect her debut album out sometime in 2014.
