Swedish folk/rock duo Solander have been drifting around for a while now, but the “The Woods Are Gone” sees them focussing their songwriting with impressive results. Falling somewhere in between Fleet Foxes and Sigur Rós, the gorgeous new track showcases exactly what they’re good at: making whispery folk songs that are also surprisingly widescreen. It’s put the release of their upcoming third album, Monochromatic Memories (out February 3), on our radar.

“The Woods Are Gone” is available as a name your price download via Bandcamp.
