Under his producer pseudonym of Larry Fisherman, Mac Miller has released a foreboding posse cut entitled “Amen.” Featuring Dash, Ab-Soul, Vince Staples, and Retch, the menacing track is a bit of a creeper, slowly lurching with a drip-drop of electronics and a cavernous beat that offers a lot of space for its rappers to deliver. Between production like this, his recent output, and the fact that he is widely respected by his peers, it’s clear that Mac Miller has evolved and matured from the college rap style of his earlier days.
