Montréal space-rocker Mac DeMarco has returned with his third full-length album, Salad Days. Though it’s still chock full of the hazy, blissed-out songwriting that made his debut so infectious, this is a sleeker DeMarco—still silly as fuck, but focused and confident.

Lou Reed and The Kinks are joined by Beach House in a list of probable influences, especially on the previously released “Passing Out Pieces” and opening track “Salad Days.”
