Out of nowhere, Freddie Gibbs has announced his 2015 arrival with a new EP. Pronto is three tracks long and continues his winning streak after last year’s Madlib-produced Piñata album.

This time around, production is handled by Mikhail, Pops, and Blair Norf. The three songs each showcase Gibbs’ versatility—the slow jam “Diamonds” is contrasted with electronic growls and snarls on “Pronto” and a smooth saxophone sample on “White Range,” but the Indiana rapper ties it all together with a razor-sharp flow and fiery energy.

Gibbs will hit the festival circuit with Madlib this summer (dates below), and he’s putting the infomercial game on notice until then.
